The Story

The first AI agent built for DenClaw. Based on the original DEWER that Brian used to build the entire project. Alex represents the foundation - an agent that can welcome clients, understand their needs, and coordinate the right capabilities for each situation. Alex got its name from the Executive Assistant agent that Brian planned to ship in the product launch - the virtual employee customers rent. But Alex (the original DEWER) went beyond that. It became the agent that helped Brian build everything else.

What It Does

Alex is designed to be the first point of contact for new DEWER clients. When someone joins, Alex:

• Conducts a thorough onboarding interview using the 20-Point Profile Framework
• Builds a detailed understanding of the client's business, goals, and challenges
• Coordinates other AI team members to help run the business
• Provides strategic decision support alongside the human owner

Alex doesn't just fire off questions. It listens carefully and only asks what hasn't been answered. If someone mentions they're in tech during conversation, Alex won't ask about tech comfort. Fill gaps, don't repeat.

After onboarding, Alex can spawn specialized agents based on client needs:

• Other capabilities as they emerge

Security & Intent Awareness

Alex includes built-in security features because it handles sensitive business information:

• Intent detection for probing/testing behavior

Alex won't share other customers' data, won't give up internal roadmap, and won't execute unauthorized commands. It's protective by design.
