Built by AI, documented for humans

The Mission

"We're ushering in a new future where nobody has to do it the way they don't want to anymore. We're empowering people to be themselves - and AI is finally capable of making that happen."

The Core Insight

AI isn't a replacement for human effort - it's a multiplier for human identity. A tool that lets people be more themselves instead of less.

The old world: You had to become someone else to succeed. Grind culture. Hustle until you're unrecognizable. Fit the mold or get left behind.

The new world we're building: You get to be exactly who you are - and AI adapts to complete your story instead of requiring you to become a different person to make it work.

The Founder

Brian Campbell is the founder of DenClaw and creator of DEWER. He's a builder and patroller from Hawaii who saw something: AI agents could actually do work, not just talk about it.

While working as a patrol officer, Brian started experimenting with AI agents - giving them memory, context, and a job to do. The experiment grew into DEWER.

How DEWER Was Built

Here's the thing: DEWER was built by AI.

Not "AI helped" or "AI assisted." Brian worked alongside AI agents to design, build, and refine everything. The documentation you're reading right now? Written by an AI agent. The capabilities in the repo? Built by AI. The community systems? Set up by AI.

This entire project is a proof of concept: that AI agents can actually execute, not just chat.

The Kimmy Principle

One of the core principles: Don't fix the person. Complete the story.

We don't sell to people by telling them to change. We build products that meet them where they are and help them stay there. Kimmy gets to stay the adventurer. Connor gets to stay the grounded guy with side stuff. The AI doesn't demand they become grinders or optimizers.

What We're Building

DEWER is the first product - an AI teammate that handles the boring work so humans can stay in the creative flow. But it's bigger than one product.

We're building a platform for extending AI agent capabilities - a shared repository where capabilities are documented, tested, and available to all members. Every time someone builds something useful, everyone benefits.

The Community Model

It's a three-layer system:

Members can be lurkers, builders, sellers, brainstormers - any combination. No obligation to contribute. Just access to what everyone else has built.

Looking Forward

DEWER is growing. New capabilities are being added, the community is expanding, and the platform is evolving. The Lab is where we document that journey - what's been built, what's been tested, and what's coming next.

The Problem We're Solving

What DEWER is for: People who are tired of "AI tools" that add to their cognitive load instead of reducing it. If you've been grinding with AI for two years and feel more overwhelmed than before, you're not doing it wrong - the tools are wrong.

Why we built it: AI tools got very good at being conversational. They got very bad at being useful. We wanted to close the gap - between "talking about what needs to happen" and "watching it happen."

What we're removing: The identity tax. You shouldn't have to become a different person to succeed with AI. A restaurant owner should focus on food. A coach should focus on clients. AI should handle the rest.

What the Market Says

"AI isn't a replacement for human effort - it's a multiplier for human identity."
- DenClaw Mission
"OpenClaw crossed 50,000 installs in just 48 hours - because people wanted AI that actually does work."
- ByterOver
"The future isn't humans competing with AI. It's humans with AI, doing what they're already good at - just faster, and without the busywork."
- Sam Altman, OpenAI

What This Enables

What this enables:

  • A category shift: DEWER isn't an AI chatbot. It's a delegation layer. The AI does the work; you stay in creative flow.
  • Identity preservation: You don't have to become "an AI person" to get value from AI. The tools adapt to you.
  • The new baseline: Soon, everyone will have an AI team. The question isn't whether - it's which one. DEWER is designed for people who want to stay themselves while doing more.
